On Tuesday, December 15th, 2015, an informational meeting was held in the AHHA Commons to review several issues regarding the detention pond and storm water infrastructure. In attendance were Todd Ferrell, Wayne Trucke and Mike Schwingel. On Thursday, December 17th, 2015, an introductory meeting was held at Silverton City Hall. In attendance were Todd Ferrell, Wayne Trucke, Mike Schwingel, and Paul Eckley. Paul is Silverton’s Public Works Director. Information regarding the AHHA detention pond and the storm water system was presented. The result of this meeting was to agree to begin a formal discussion of the steps necessary to correct any failures on the storm water system, and to work in a mutually beneficial manner for both the City of Silverton and the Abiqua Heights Homeowners Association.
On Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 at 1:00 PM an AHHA Board Meeting will be held in the Commons regarding the previous stated items. In attendance representing AHHA will be Todd Ferrell, Secretary, Wayne Trucke, Treasurer, and Board member Mike Schwingel. In attendance for the City of Silverton will be Paul Eckley, Public Works Director, and John Cramer, Engineer for the city. This will be a meeting to discuss ways to move forward with repairs. This is not a meeting where routine AHHA business will be conducted. It will be solely to discuss pond issues. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, it is recommended that attendees dress warmly.
